Life Update!

Holy Moley guys,

It feels like it’s been forever, and probably because it has! Here on the West Coast of Canada we’ve been having a huge heat wave, over 1000 fires this summer, and a level 4 drought in some places… needless to say I’ve been dying, and spending a lot of time at the beach, or with my face in front of the fan.

When I haven’t though, I’ve been out stalking my local Sephora, waiting ever so impatiently for the launch of the new Too Faced foundation! Being a VIB Rouge, I could buy it online, and I’ve been really holding myself back from doing so, because I REALLY want to try this one first.

My lover finally goes back to work on the 1st of August, after we’ve been waiting for the word back for what seems like a life time… well maybe just since spring but 4 months is a long time, too. That means I’ll have so much more time to play with makeup, and talk to you guys, since I’ll just be busy with me and munchkin.

On the makeup side of things, I haven’t really been buying lately. I’ve been looking but nothing is really screaming at me, lately… I’ll definitely have to get on that because there’s a void in my heart that only makeup can fill.

On another note, I’ve been having a lot of skin issues… in the last few days I’ve developed what looks like a wind rash, feels like my skin is so dry but also so tight, and it hurts like crazy. It could be from a multitude of things, but it’s possibly the most irritating thing, seeing as I can’t do my makeup with it because it’s literally half my face and it’s disgusting… of course not that you guys want to know about my flaky skin problems.

Other than all that, life is pretty much the same. I went on a health food kick that lasted about 4 days… I’m off that now. Life’s too short to not enjoy all the food in the world… speaking of, cheeseburgers are calling my name. 😉

Thanks for listening and as always, coming back to seeing how often my blog is read even though I haven’t been posting lately at all is fantastic, and it makes me so happy to see. I promise I’m trying to work on some stuff to give you guys, and I will figure out those stupid hauls, at some point.

xo, as always.

How I Make my Dry and Frizzy Hair Managable and Soft!

Hey beauties!

This is pretty straight forward and to the point, as you can see by the lack of creative title today… I just woke up, gimme a break!

If you guys know me at all, you know my bright red hair is achieved by first bleaching, and of course bleaching causes some serious thirst… I’ve always had pretty strong hair, but as of lately my hair has been soooo dry and unmanagable, especially when wet… then I’m walking around with a rat’s nest in my hair all day until it dries, then I gotta fight through that dry and frizzy disaster… not a good scene, alright?!

Today though, I’m going to share with you my new hair routine, and this is also a bit of a first impressions on the new shampoo and conditioner I just started using, which I picked up at my dollar store for like $2.50 each, but I’ve heard good things about it so I thought “let’s do this!”

Alright. So first, I started using the Live Clean Professional damage therapy Shampoo and Conditioner. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this felt on my hair, and how soft it made it all on it’s own.

This duo claims to be:

  • Plant derived
  • Petroleum free
  • Paraben free
  • Dye free
  • Phthalate free
  • Phosphate free
  • Pure vegan
  • Never tested on animals
  • Recycleable
  • With biodegradable ingredients

It also says it’s enriched with 100% Kendi oil, avacado oil, and quinoa to repair split ends. I couldn’t tell you if this is true or not, I’m not a chemist, but I do think that it’s got a lot of great stuff in it, and does what it says, because my hair feels amazing today, not going to lie!

I will continue to use these, but a side note, while I let the conditioner set in my hair, I could feel a little running down my face and it made my eyes burn a little. Nothing too serious, but that’s not normal for me and most conditioners. Still, for the price, the size, and the results, I’d easily give this an 8/10. It’s pretty good in my books.

Once I got out of the shower, I towel dried my hair as best I could, and then I tried to brush through it. This was still a challenge. Of course you’re not supposed to brush your hair when wet, but my son chewed my pick and now it gets stuck in my hair when I brush it wet, so for now, the only option is gently using my hair brush.

I then sprayed some Garnier Fructis Colour Shield all over my hair, which has oils in it (and I would read some of the ingredients if my son hadn’t stashed it somewhere secret), and this helped my hair be a little more managable. I believe it says to do only a few sprays all over your hair, but I’ll be honest; I have long hair, and probably used about 30 sprays between the mid-lengths and ends of my hair… It took a lot. The bright side? My hair still isn’t oily! After using this I did brush through my hair a lot easier, so I will continue to use this. You can use this spray with damp or dry hair for a great colour protector and moisture spritz, or on dry hair for a shiny finish to any look, or so it says.

This probably would have been good enough for most people, but not me because I wanted really smooth and soft hair, so I went on to use 2 of my favourite leave ins. The first is one I use everyday, my Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Leave in Conditioner. This is so inexpensive and one of the best I’ve found, personally. I smooth a dime sized amount rubbed between my hands down my mid-lengths and ends. I then brush through my hair. Important note: I DO NOT put this on my roots, or your hair will look greasy with it dries!

The second leave in is a mousse called Milk_shake, and the brand I believe is called z.one Concept. This is a wonderful product. It’s moisturizing, light weight, and smells like whipped cream, come on. It says it “helps preserve color[sic] integrity, [and] leaves hair soft, shiny, and healthy.” I agree with all these things. This is a wonderful product. Unfortunately I don’t know where you can buy it, I got it from my old salon. It lasts a long time as long as you use it wisely. It is a bit costly, though. Something to keep in mind. I just lightly spread this between my hands, and then work it in just like I would with mousse. I flip my hair, and work it through again only my mid-lengths and ends.

The secret to manageable soft hair that isn’t greasy is to avoid product on your roots! A little is okay, but that’s it! I only put the first Colour Shield on my roots. The rest stays at my ears and below!

After all these products I let my hair air dry. Using heat styling tools on your hair will help further damage your hair. After we just spent all this time adding products to make it silky, soft, and smooth, do you REALLY want to use heat on your hair?! You can, but don’t! xo

Once my hair dried, I brush it through, and I add a final touch of Dove Pure Care Dry Oil. This alone is one of my holy grails. I love this product so much, it’s amazing how nice it makes my hair feel. Of course, I only apply this to my mid-lenghts and ends, but only from about my chin down. What is left on my hands after I run this through my ends, I run through the rest of my hair.

And that’s it! My hair is amazing this morning after doing all this last night! It probably seems like a lot of work, but it’s all worth it, and really not that much work. Today, I’m thinking some nice mermaid curls. We’ll see where the day goes!

I hope this helps some beauties get some gorgeous, manageable and soft locks! They feel amazing! Love you guys, and as always thanks for the support and love! I wouldn’t be able to do it without you! I’ve still got some more makeup blogs coming your way! Still working on doing a third video of my haul… thinking installments instead of one big video! I can’t decide! I’ll figure it out soon, so stay tuned!

xo, until next time!

Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette/ VIB ROUGE Status!!!

Beauties!

Good news! The other day, I got an email that said I was only $150 away from VIB Rouge status at Sephora, so naturally I had to go hog wild or I probably would have gone insane! I picked up some fantastic stuff, which I’m including in my haul; which is on it’s way, I’ve video taped it twice now, but I don’t like how it turned out, so I’ll probably have to do it a third time, but I’m going to have to wait for when it’s not so sunny and darn hot, because holy does my filming room get warm!

One of the things I picked up though, is the Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette for contour and highlighting, AND the brush that goes with it! I’m super excited since I haven’t spent a long time dealing with contouring. I’m super excited to try it out and review it for you guys!

What I do know is that it is SUPER pigmented, and such a little product goes such a long way, I swatched it in store with the brush and one swipe was all I needed to have more than enough product!

All these wonderful things are coming, and I’m even thinking about doing some makeup tutorials soon, but not 100% on that just yet. I’ve never filmed myself doing makeup, so maybe I’ll film some Get Ready with Me videos first! We’ll see where the wind takes us!

xo, until next time!

All Black Everything! MUFE Rouge Artist Intense Lipstick #50!

Hey beauties!

If you know me, you know I’ve been dying to try a black lipstick for pretty much forever, and been absolutely TERRIFIED of actually doing it. As a makeup enthusiast I am pretty open to trying new things, but black lips was totally a foreign concept that I was so scared to try…

I have recently conquered that fear, and oh. my. god! I’m so happy I did. I think I’ve said this a million times, but everybody needs black lipstick in their lives; if not because it’s so bold and daring, because it looks amazing!

Let’s be honest, I don’t know anyone that looks at black lipstick and isn’t afraid that they’re going to look like a total gothic person… you know that one time you overdrew your winged eyeliner and just thought: “whatever!” Well, don’t do that when you decide to wear black for the first time…. (or ever, please), BUT, it’s so much easier to wear than I ever thought it would be, but don’t worry, I’ll give you some tips and tricks I’ve learned!

20150528_213859Since this is a review, I’ll guess we’ll start talking about the lipstick in general. I’ve always loved the look of the Make Up For Ever (MUFE) Rouge Artist Intense Lipsticks… I swatch #50 (black) every single time I go in there… the pigmentation, the creamy formula, everything about it… I love! It’s just amazing. So why have I never bought it?! I’ve asked myself this a million times… They are so worth it, and actually pretty good pricing! I think I paid $23 CAD for it, and that’s cheap all things considered.

20150528_213948
Plexi-Gloss applied without base

What I was absolutely amazed by, though, is their newer Plexi-gloss’! These babies have some INSANE pigment, and are absolutely gorgeous. I bought this lipgloss in black, and just on it’s own is gorgeous, full black, and looks amazing. They aren’t very sticky, and I found to be quite moisturizing, though I didn’t wear it long, because I tried it on before heading to bed, so only had it on for about 45 minutes, maybe an hour. I paid about $25 CAD for this one as well.

These are SO worth it, and together are amazing. I couldn’t even begin to describe how much I love these. I am beyond thrilled that I bought these! How have I gone so long without black lipstick in my life?!

Anyway. I am quite obviously not into goth makeup (nothing against anyone who is, all makeup expression is beautiful and if you can rock it, please do!), and am quite pale. Both of these have made me not want to buy and wear black lipstick. It is very intimidating, but when I walked into Sephora and the most gorgeous guy, Scott, who works at my local Sephora, offered to try it on me, I couldn’t say no, as I was covered in swatches and black lipstick. I couldn’t help myself.

When we first put it on, I didn’t like it. I like my lips a little overdrawn, and in all honesty a certain way, and that’s okay, when he applied it, it was very tame, as since he does this everyday, with multitudes of people, I’m not surprised this is his default. I was so skeptical. I love buying makeup, but actually hate buying makeup that I don’t use, especially expensive makeup. It makes me so upset to buy something and then hate it, and this has happened all too often. I was with my mom, and she convinced me she loved it, so I decided to buy it.

This is possibly the best decision I’ve ever made. I think a big part of discovering who you are as a makeup junkie, artist, or anything in between, is exploring your colour options. What looks good, what doesn’t, what boundaries you’re willing to cross, and going beyond conventional views of makeup. Black lipstick may be my favourite thing now.

20150528_214112
Top: Plexi-Gloss, bottom: MUFE Lipstick #50

These two together are amazing. They are just gorgeous, and it doesn’t look gaudy, or out of place. It’s so wearable, and it’s so perfect!

For all of my readers who are thinking “I could NEVER pull off black”, please, you can! I assure you. I am incredibly pale, really. I have bright red hair, very pale pink skin, and I couldn’t imagine it working out, in life! Some tips and tricks:

Wear black lipstick with either a very dull eye, very light shadow, mascara, and skip the eyeliner. Since the black lip is the focal point, leave the eye very simple, and don’t worry too much about it. On the opposite scale, wear a black lip with a very smokey eye. With a black lip, it’s either all or none, and there seems to be no middle ground. Of course, this is my personal opinion, and if you find a happy medium that you like, rock it!

Underneath my black lipstick, I lined and filled my lips in with a black eyeliner. I chose the Sephora brand because I love the creamy consistency, but use whatever one you want, the brand isn’t important. What is important is that you line your lips. You need to create the definition, since it is such a dark colour. If you spend a lot of time wiping off the black lipstick when you draw over your lip line, and covering it with concealer, it will begin to look like a green halo around your lips, and just take my advice ladies (and gents); that’s not cute!

Don’t be afraid! Everything that you do in terms of makeup is affected by your confidence! Makeup is such an 11390257_10153393706883987_7354174563841715536_namazing thing, and can change everything about a person, but nothing looks good if you don’t love who you are, and what you wear! If you want to look amazing in black lipstick, wear it proud!

These are my best tips for you, I can’t suggest how you should wear it in terms of over or under drawn, this is all personal preference, and as I said, it looks better on me if I overdraw my lips a little. This isn’t a universal rule, so whatever you like, go with that and just let it flow! I’m so excited that I bought it; it has really got my creativity juices flowing! I can’t wait to see what else I can come up with in the next little while!

By the way, this black lipstick looks AMAZING with my hair, which I didn’t expect! I thought it would look terrible, since my hair is so bright and the lipstick is so dark. Best choice I’ve ever made!

Thanks everyone for the read as always, love you all! Embrace your difference and creativity, and please, just try on the lipstick! It’ll change your life! I hope this helps someone with a hard decision. Remember kids, “life’s too short, buy the lipstick!” Go let out your inner gothic diva and try on some gorgeous black! You won’t regret it! I’ve got tons more stuff on the way, just stay tuned!

xo, until next time!

Coming soon: online haul!

Hey beauties,

I told you all before that I was waiting for 1 more package to arrive, before I did my huge haul post… No, the post hasn’t arrived. The good news though? We’re not waiting anymore! I decided to ask for a refund, because the company I ordered from has had really bad reviews, and I’ve been waiting nearly 2 months. They offered to replace my items and resend them, but I’m not going to wait that extra time… it’s not worth my time. Instead, I went down to my local Dollarama and bought the same thing in a smaller version, for less money, and no shipping charge… so I’m over that!

Anyway. Give me a few days to get everything together, get some pictures taken, and get these up for you! I can’t promise it’ll all be in one post, maybe a series? I’m going to do my best to post a video if I can ever figure out how the heck to do that! Lol.

I’ve also gotten some fantastic things from Sephora recently, and I can’t wait to show you guys everything! From swatches, to reviews, to whatever the heck else I can think of! Thank you all for the love and support! You mean the world to me!

Sneak peak: MAC, Gerard Cosmetics, Sephora, ELF, Red Cherry Lashes, and more! Stay tuned!

Can’t wait to post this for all my followers to read, I’ve got some awesome stuff to show you I’m absolutely in LOVE with! I’m going to do some research now and google how to add videos to this silly site!

xo, until next time, my loves!

The Influence of Makeup on Developing Minds…

Hey Beauties,

Just a quick little thought here…

I hadn’t realized the huge impact makeup has ACTUALLY had on the world until I started this blog, truthfully. I mean, I’ve always loved makeup, and I imagine other people would too, however, in the recent month or so following the creation of this blog, I noticed that my number slowly started to sky rocket surrounding certain posts. Am I complaining? Absolutely not. I am here to speak passion, and to help people in all their most important decision making.

Now you’re asking yourself, what is this boiling down to? Well. My most viewed blog, each and everyday, remains the same, thus far; it’s my Mac Soar & Faux dupes. This of course is fine, finding cheaper makeup is never a bad thing, but I have to keep asking myself, WHY.

This is a question I need not ask, because the answer is everywhere. It’s all over the news, following stars. It’s all over magazines, it’s all over every place you look. Youtube. Instagram. Even slowly creeping it’s way onto Facebook…

The answer is the same reason that I originally became interested in these colours, admittedly. Kylie Jenner, and other celebrities.

I can’t go to a grocery store without seeing her face, plastered on some magazine. When I bought this combination, I had absolutely no clue in the world who she was, but I couldn’t get enough of that lip colour, and perhaps the same is true for other people too… If you ask me how often I actually wear this combination though, I’d say very rarely. I do love it, and I’m still very into nudes, but I do try to change these up, because I don’t want to be a carbon copy.

What this ultimately boils down to, is that people, be yourself! I love each and every one of you, and I can bet that at LEAST a handful of other people do too, and they don’t love you because you look like Kylie Jenner, or Jennifer Lopez, or any other celebrity, makeup artist, or magazine cover. They love you for you. Does this mean don’t buy it? No.

This is just a little note to not forget who you are, where you come from, and what makes you special. Makeup is only skin deep, and don’t let that skin beauty shine brighter than your inner beauty. Radiate from your soul, and yours alone.

Sorry for the little rant, love you all for your individuality! Be yourself, my sunshines, and please don’t let the media get to your head!

xo, until next time.

Dupe Alert for MAC’s Vegas Volt!!

Hello Beauties,

It’s been pretty much forever, and I’ve actually been missing you guys so much! I’ve been so busy, and waiting for all my packages to arrive so I can do a huge haul blog, or series of, or maybe even a vlog, if I can find out how the heck you add videos to this site…. oh well.

Anyway, since I’ve been waiting very impatiently, I haven’t had much to talk about, because pretty much EVERYTHING is going to leak products that I’ve recently received, and even this one… BUT, since we’re just waiting for ONE more package that’s due to arrive by Wednesday, consider this a sneak peak! But, if you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, then you already know of these beauties! If you haven’t clued in, I’m talking about my new Gerard Cosmetics Lipsticks! They’ve got AWESOME sales on right now, through a few people! If you check out their instagram page, you’ll find tons!

I recently had dupes on my mind, and I was sitting outside waiting to go for lunch with my mom, when I ran inside to swatch some of my new lipsticks against each other, because I realized, Gerard Cosmetics has a PERFECT dupe for MAC’s Vegas Volt lipstick! Vegas Volt is a gorgeous coral, (which looks amazing with Pink Lemonade Lip Glass over top, but that’s another story for another day!) and Gerard Cosmetics matched this shade perfectly with one of their newer shades, Tequila Sunrise.

10407975_10153349101183987_8950717440019137859_nSo first, since they’re in the picture, how pretty are these LA Girl Cosmetic Lip Paints? I know, I know. I’m totally behind the times, but I just got these, (they’ll be part of my haul), and I’m loving the consistency and the colour pay off. Just gorgeous! These two are Hot Mess, and Tango.

Back to the point, though! I’m not going to tell you right now which one is which, I want you to try to guess! (Unless you cheat and check the labeled picture at the bottom…. then friends off!)

I assure you, they ARE different colours, I promise!

Both have great colour pay off, both are a really nice creamy texture, though I did find the MAC one to be a little bit more drying on the lips, but that may just be me, as I find a lot of MAC’s lipsticks dry out my lips a little faster than others!

I can’t get over these. Alone, Gerard Cosmetic’s Tequila Sunrise retails for I think $19, which matches MAC’s price, retailing also at $19, BUT, the best part of this is: a) with a discount code found at Gerard Cosmetic’s Instagram page, these are selling for about $9/lipstick when you buy 3… what?! AND I’M NOT EVEN FINISHED YET…. b) Gerard Cosmetic’s has WORLDWIDE FREE SHIPPING. Is this heaven!? Have we makeup junkies all died and gone to heaven?! Nope! Just an awesome company, offering awesome deals! I’m not sure if it’s limited time only, but you better hurry on over there, because a steal like this cannot be missed!

I’ve found some of Mac’s lipsticks quite hard to dupe exactly, but I’m absolutely astonished by the match of these two. I had to go back to my original instagram post to remember which was which, not going to lie!

….

Have we guessed yet?! I bet not; but don’t worry, I won’t keep you guessing any longer!

GERARD MAC DUPE VEGAS VOLT LABELEDIf you guessed it, congratulations, and I’m proud, but I’d be willing to bet, lucky guess… 50/50 chance, right?!

Alright. Of the two, the top one is Gerard Cosmetic’s Tequila Sunrise, and the bottom is Mac’s Vegas Volt! I own both of these, and I love them both (who wouldn’t?), so now the challenge is deciding which to wear!

All in all, I’d definitely recommend the Gerard Cosmetic’s dupe! With their sales on right now, you can’t go wrong, and free shipping gets me every time! Online shopping addict, right here! Anyone else?

Gerard Cosmetics is an amazing company as is, and they’re customer service beyond exceeds anything that I’ve experienced before! As I mentioned in a previous post, my first order was lost in the mail, and I contacted someone ON A SUNDAY NIGHT and got a response within minutes, who told me they believed my package was lost, and they would resend it the following day. This was by far more than I’ve ever received from a company. They are friendly, customer oriented, and they’ve got amazing deals. Plus, the most important part, the products are worth having, from their creamy formulas, to their longlasting wear, and finally, their fantastic colour pay off!

Take my word, beauties, get in on this, before it’s too late!

xo, as always!

Holy Grail Foundation: Kat Von D Liquid lock-it Tattoo Foundation

Hey beauties!

I’ve raved about this before, and I don’t think I could stop, honestly. I tried a more light-weight foundation, and I really wanted to at least like it, but like I told you before, unless I mix it with my Kat Von D foundation, it’s definitely a no-go in my books!

If you haven’t read any of my previous raves, I’ll give you a run down: I got matched with a colour that is WAY too yellow and dark for my pale, pink skin. Instead, I decided since my skin has greatly improved, I’d try a different foundation. I got matched to the Sephora Collection Foundation in Delicate Beige. If you don’t mind the finish, this might be a great foundation, but I am all about matte, and I don’t like the feel of it on my skin, either. Thus, I started mixing a little bit of my too dark Kat Von D into my Sephora Collection, and this was better, because I cover my face with powder anyway. I won’t get rid of my Sephora Collection, because I think it will come in handy at a later date, but for this moment, I’m not a huge fan.

So! The other day, I went out and finally got properly matched to my favourite foundation again! Like I said, I can’t rave enough about this foundation. I love the matte finish, it lasts all day, and even though it feels heavier than any “lightweight” foundation, I don’t think it’s really “heavy” at all!

I can’t say much more that I haven’t already said, but I absolutely love this foundation! It’s perfect, and like I said in the title, my holy grail!

Thanks as always for the support, my loves! I hope this helps somebody in choosing their perfect foundation! Remember, not every foundation is going to be perfect for everyone! In honor of this post, and my lack of time to do large posts lately, I might start a collab of holy grail products! I’m still waiting on everything I ordered online to come in so I can do one big online haul video/post!

xo, as always!

Gerard Cosmetics

Hey beauties!

I just wanted to do a quick shout out to Gerard Cosmetics.

Gerard Cosmetic’s been having tons of sales lately, that are amazing! At the beginning of the month I bought a 4 pack for $40.

That’s $9.75 per lipstick. This is an amazing deal. Since this, they’ve had even better deals! The best thing is that they have free shipping worldwide. This is no joke. Go. Now. Run free my beauty addicts… I’ll wait.

….

Okay, I hope you came back!

I want to be honest. I ordered on April 10th, and I’ve been very impatiently awaiting the arrival, and now today, I thought I’d check out if someone would be able to tell me where my package was, or how long I should expect them to take.

Gerard Cosmetics has a live chat, that was active, at 7 pm on Sunday night… let that soak in a minute! When was the last time you got live chat on a Sunday night?! This was a huge high five for me.

I spoke to “Alexis” and she not only told me that my package should take 2-4 weeks from ship date, but that she was worried that my package might have been lost due to the lack of update since the 14th of April. She then proceeded to (without me asking) tell me that she was going to have my package quick reshipped asap!

Even though my package may have been lost in transit, I want to say that this is the absolute BEST customer service I have EVER received from an online vendor.

I honestly thus far have nothing bad to say about Gerard Cosmetics, and I am beyond excited to get this package, because these lipsticks are going to be to die for, I know.

That’s really all I’ve gotta say, and I hope it helps out some of my babes. Free shipping, and amazing customer service are 2 of the best qualities people can have! On another note, check out Todrick Hill on youtube, because he is funny and perfect! As always, thanks for the support loves, and I look forward to doing all the posts/videos I’ve got planned for you guys!

Mini Review – NailPolishCanada.com

Hey beauties!

I realize it’s been practically forever since I’ve written to you! Since I got my promotion I’m working a lot, I’m tired a lot, and all at the same time, my son broke my laptop charger, so I can only write to you when my boyfriend’s computer is free… Being awake enough to write, at home, and having a free computer are basically as often as the moon and the sun being all aligned… not really all that often.

Regardless, here I am, forcing myself through the fatigue to write to you guys, because I’ve been neglectful!

I told you guys recently I’ve been ordering makeup online. I’ve got lipstick storage coming from Hong Kong, I’ve got lipsticks coming from Gerard Cosmetics (who has an AWESOME deal on right now, by the way with free world wide shipping!), I ordered eye lashes from NailPolishCanada, and I ordered some products from EyesLipsFace! I’m super excited for all of these. I’ve also picked up a few things since I last blogged, like my Mac lipsticks and lipglass, a drugstore primer I want to try out for you lovely people, and some more things that I’m dying to blog about, I’m just having such a hard time getting motivated!

I did, however, recently clean my brushes, and so I took a couple pictures (before/after) so I can show you guys how I wash my brushes and all that stuff! This is coming soon, I promise!

I just had my 2 days off for this week, and spent all day today with car troubles, and yesterday I spent the day with my mom shopping and doing her makeup! It was actually really nice! Do I want to go back to work? No. BUT, life calls!

Anyway.

Of everything I’ve ordered, I received my package from NailPolishCanada yesterday in the mail with all my eyelashes! I want to report that they are in perfect condition, they were super inexpensive, and they came super fast! It took them 6 days from order date to receive date. I do have to comment that they are out of Vancouver, so they are pretty close to me, but they are very fast, efficient, and things get here in awesome condition!

Of course, all my Canadian beauties are asking the real questions now: what is the price like?! The prices on the Red Cherry Lashes I bought were great. I’ve tried 1 pair of Red Cherry Lashes before and they were great. I bought 5 pairs, and the total after taxes was $25.14 (CAD), and the best part? THAT’S WHAT I PAID! No shipping! Nail Polish Canada has an awesome flat rate shipping of $3 (in Canada), or free shipping on orders $25+! I can’t really begin to describe how much I like this online store, and also, they have a point system a little like Sephora, where you get 10 points per $1 that you spend, which you can put towards rewards. This is fantastic!

Yesterday, I also discovered they have another site, where you can get other makeup products, and I will absolutely be ordering from them again!

I don’t often think places are amazing, but between their prices, their free shipping, and their fast service, I definitely give them a 10/10!!!
